Throughout her career, Lindsay has held various roles, including paraprofessional, trained mediator, Autism Specialist, Emotional/Behavioral Disorder Specialist, Student Mental Health Specialist, Special Education Facilitator, and endorsed educational coach utilizing restorative practices. She has taught Special Education P-12, English Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies at both middle and high school levels. Recognized for her contributions, Lindsay has been named Teacher of the Year, served as department head at a Title I middle school, and mentored new educators. An expert at creating connected communities, repairing harm, and collaborating with school leaders, she has assisted on superintendent committees to enhance graduation rates and served as a member of the Local Interagency Planning Team (LIPT) to connect families with resources beyond school. Her key contributions include coordinating and providing professional development training for teachers, consulting with district leaders for planning and programming, and developing policies, procedures, and forms for district-wide use.
